This is a replica of the Canadian Celiac Association's logo that a friend made for me to be used at our last conference. Although you don't see this logo very many places, I am working to change that. I would like to see this logo or some form of recognizable logo on all products that are naturally or that are made to be GF. There are efforts right now to change ingredient labelling laws so that the items are more clearly identified, but we still have to read every label and be knowledagble about hidden sources (ie. malt). When I was new to this whole GF game I was not especially skilled in this area and labels or logos such as this would have saved me a few bathroom trips. So perhaps if we all work together another new Celiac can be saved a few bathroom trips with a new indication logo.

Hi All,

Welcome to my Celiac Club website.

This site is a more tame continuation of another Celiac based site, http://celiac_dreams.livejournal.com/ . The other site has less of a language and content resitriction and deals with more of my opinion then solid information.

This site will deal with Dinner Club events and restaurant reveiws. I will be attempting to back track and talk about all our previously visited restaurants as well and also to contruct a current list of places and foods within our city.

I have a partner in GF so to speak, her name is Carolyn and she has started a similar dinner club for Celiacs in Edmonton, so if you are interested her site is http://www.glutenfreedinnerclub.blogspot.com/ .

I will be working on this and my other site for the next few days, so please bear with me as I get it all up and running.

Enjoy and Good GF eating to you all.

Jenny
